In preparation for our upcoming migration to this new place...I resigned from work effective June 15. This would be enough time for me to work on the requirements for our migration, to put up a garage sale, to rest and to attend to my bestfriend's wedding.

However, GT is requesting that I extend my services for at least another 2 weeks, I tendered an irrevocable and cannot be rescheduled resignation hehe. They are having a hard time finding a replacement for me since I'm handling the most critical technical project and their Top 1 priority project for the year. They even offered me a position so that I will stay which I declined since being with my hubby is non-negotiable.

I'm thankful though for the offer, but I'm not too keen to be a regular employee, I enjoy being a consultant. So even if I will not be leaving, I would still choose to be consultant over regular employment. For one, I don't have to deal with office politics and worry about climbing the ladder.
