Having second thoughts on my driving skills...
What's with me this week?!!! Imagine me denting the car twice and the week has just begun. Last Sunday, I went out to do wedding coordination stuff. After being nominated to drive for the girls to Manila Hotel, I hopped inside the car, then as I started the engine, I checked on my mirrors and started reversing the car. Then I heard a "bang" that made my heart stopped, OMG! there was an owner-type jeep at the back of my car. I cannot hail myself outside the car, afraid of checking the damage I have done to the jeep and to my car...but I needed to do that, so I braved down the car and held my breath for a second, nothing really happened to the jeep, as in "NAH" but my car has a couple of scratch, my head begun to wonder on what will I tell my husband...after wrecking our car just last June, here I am again on the same parking lot....I really hate SMC!

But I have to compose myself since I will have to drive ourselves to Manila, that thought made me cringed, how am I going to go there when I cannot move the car safely out of the parking lot? and out to the busiest place in the country - my mind was already dreading the thought of driving to Quiapo - OMG! OMG! OMG! But the whole team is counting on me, so I took a deep breath and forced myself to the driver's seat. A couple of twist and turns and I find myself being greeted by Manila Hotel's personnel. Of course, I had valet service for parking.

I cannot let go of what happened, it was like a ghost that's hunting me the whole day. When I inspected again the dent, there were no really serious damage except for the paint and a long scratch on the rear bumper but still I will have to shell out for the repairs. My husband will kill me...

And just a few minutes ago, I decided to grab a burger together with my little girl, her yaya and our househelp. I decided to do front-facing parking since I was alone in that side of parking lot. After spending nearly an hour eating we decided to go home, the parking area was full this time and pushcarts were all lined up near my space. And since I've parked facing the wall, I had a really hard time maneuvering my way out, as in "drive-reverse-drive-reverse" kinda of situation. I was tempted to yell but I was with my darling daughter then a man came to my rescue when he noticed that the lower side of my car bumped into the gutter....I inspected my car and there was a dent, ohhhhhh not again! He volunteered to drive the car out of that mess,  I was hesitant but he seem nice so I just hand over the wheel to him so we could go home.

I'm seriously thinking of getting that darn car reverse sensor, it might do the trick right? Or I will allot a day practicing maneuvering the car in tight spaces. Haysss. Hope the car-denting will stop today.
