Another week to go and its December, but its freaking hot! I can't feel the Christmas season coming, I have been in the mall most of the time, with the hubby and the little girl because I can't stand being home, its soooo hot!
Yesterday, we went to Trinoma for a change, I was able to get a nice white dress that I could use for attending weddings :) We stroll until we're dead tired and headed to my mom's place to pick-up the veggies and fish that I asked her to buy for me, she's doing that for me every week. Today, we're planning to spend the rest of the afternoon where else? but in the mall.
I'm going online from time to time to check on the ongoing testing of my projects, since, our vendor/partner is Singtel, email is the best way to coordinate with them and since I can't configure my iPhone to work with our office MS Outlook, I have no choice but to check my email via OWA.
Work is okay, I was asked last week by my Managing Director if I want to be transferred to Business Group, but for now I want to stay in the Technical Team since I've been in the Business side for a long time and I think it would do me good in terms of learning if I stay in my current post. But I told my MD that at the end of the day, it would be my rate that would dictate where should I be- that's my deciding factor :) She reassured me that there would be adjustment in my rate regardless if I'm a Business PM or IT PM, that's the best thing about being a consultant, you get to negotiate your rate every 6months to a year.
I'm loving my job now...Thank you Lord, I never doubted for a moment your plans for me.
I was being offered a job by Accenture-Malaysia but I'm not pursuing it, I want to stay here, we tried migrating to SG but somehow we find ourselves back here so NO for now.
I'm busy, too busy to make new friends, but I don't fret, because I have them...they are my true friends. Our friendship has been tested by time. We have been friends since grade school, beat that!
