BREAKING OUT
My face is breaking out badly ever since I went off the pills. We're planning to have baby no. 2 next year (after the Europe trip) so I decided to stop it.

My face is usually oily and its breaking out easily, Diane 35 is my miracle worker.

I'm currently on Proactive + Panoxyl. I'm not sure  its working for me, I tried buying "The Regimen" from Acne.Org, however, it will take awhile to be shipped here. Together with lots of Vitamin Bs to make the acne at bay.

Hope there's a quick fix other than going on pill again. Hays.

DANCING
Today marks my 10th day of being enrolled in the gym. I managed to go 3 x a week, mostly spending it in the dance classes: Zumba, Retro,Body Jam.

I was supposed to go today but my little girl wouldn't allow me to leave the house. I guess she kinda miss mommy. so I just stayed.

I feel healthier now. I hope I can keep this up and continue even in Q. Hubby's company has its own gym facilities complete with olympic size pool and even offerring Yoga, Zumba and the likes. You can even enroll your kids to various classes: Violin, Piano, Languages while you're doing your workout. Perfect for a SAHM like me.

GYM
After 2 weeks of slacking, I finally got the guts to enroll myself to a gym.

Yes, I have been meaning to go the gym for ages, but, can't seem find the time. But now that I have no work anymore, I run out of excuses.

I decided to have an afternoon session as the heat is really killing me at home, I'm not used to the heat as our office is freezing cold. I enrolled for a month, since I'm bound to be with the hubby by 2nd week of September. My personal trainer is really nice - I opted to have one, since it would make me more discipline in doing the routine.

Tomorrow, there would be Zumba class :)

---
On another note, I chanced upon NBI Satellite Office  in Metroeast and was able to get my clearance in 15 minutes, since they are almost closing. Hubby got his for almost a day of lining up, I just got so lucky that it was 5PM already and they haven't completed their daily target of 500 applicants, I was No. 491 :) I was planning to wake up at 3 AM one day and line up....Lucky Lucky Me, I don't have to do it.

EMBASSY
Last Tuesday I went back to the embassy to get the attested documents for our visa processing. I decided to take a cab and not to drive since I can't remember clearly how to drive all the way to McKinly Hills. It was just a 30minute cab ride, the same time it takes me to get a cab , crap.

I arrived 1.5 hours earlier but I was glad since I was able to be in No. 6 of the list. I stayed at Starbucks with Dark Mocha frap and a book to keep me company while I wait for my turn. At 3PM, they called the 1st batch, which includes me, just took me less than 5 mins inside to get my attested docs. I immediately went home to see the darling baby.

ERRANDS
Yesterday, I went to PUP to apply for CTC of my TOR and Diploma, since I want to be prepared in case I would want to work in Q, I have all the necessary documents with me.

Going there could be a challenge since one will need to ride a jeep (I have no plans of driving all the way there), I parked my car at Robinsons and took a jeep to LRT Station then off to V.Mapa Station, it required another short jeepney ride.

While walking inside the campus, memories kept pouring into me, I remember my college days and it made me smile. The school seems much better now, given the little improvements here and there. I was able to process the requirements in 30 minutes, had to pay P920 for the copies and is requested to come back by August 1.

Since I had so many errands on my list, I just had a quick lunch at Cibo in gateway mall after having my watch checked at WatchWorld. However, there was no readily available gasket for now and it will take 3 months to order one, so I will just bring it to Q and hopefully there's an accredited watch repair shop there for my favorite watch. For now I can't wear it since there's no  battery.

I took a cab going to Sta Lucia to open a new bank account, and went for a quick grocery shopping. I'm super tired when I came back but felt so "accomplished".

COLLEGE
Yesterday, I almost had a panic attack when I can't remember if I have my college diploma already. Glad I found the box where I kept our documents, I will be needing it since I'm planning to go to my beloved PUP to get a certified true copy of  it for future employment opportunities that would come my way while I'm at Q.

I suddenly remember my college days. I'm not a straight A student, I swear I hate my course because of the Math subjects in it, its a course for the brainy people and not for me. I merely on "surviving" mode, would be happy to get a "3" which is a passing grade especially on my Math subjects. Though I belong to the star section all my student life and was always in honor roll without me even trying, I'm not sure the course is for me. It's too difficult for me, guess because I always wanted to be a lawyer, and I think I will be a good one given the opportunity. But my father's work back then was an on-and-off and I cannot afford to go to school for more than 4 years since I have other sibling waiting to be supported.

So there I was, trapped in the course that I hated. But needed to continue for the sake of my brother's future. I was given P100 for allowance, 25% is spent in fares alone, but I do manage to save a lot since being enrolled in a state university means student's family is struggling financially and needed government support. We were called as Iskolar ng Bayan (Nation's Scholar) which means, we are Bright and Poor. This is surely a complement.

I love my school. I was quite popular back then because I look like Julia Roberts - and so they say. I cannot see the resemblance anyway. I kinda accepted it since she starred Pretty Woman hehe. My boyfriend back then was the most popular guy in our college department and even in the school. The girls at school especially the really pretty ones cannot accept that he picked me above all of them - maybe because I was the only one not affected by his charms. He saw me as a challenge.  We had our ups and downs, and I cannot even remember how many times we broke up. But something remains the same all these years - my love for him.

P.S. He is my HUSBAND now.

PARIS
Going to Europe has been our ultimate travel destination ever since. Hubby and I were discussing our plans yesterday to go to Europe instead of spending vacay here next year.

Part of hubby's package is an airfare allowance for him and all his dependents - that would be me and Hermione for now on a yearly basis. Airfare allowance is given in cash and not in the form of airplane tickets and its up to you on how you would want to use (may not be for travelling). Reason why most of his colleagues are opting to go to Europe, US and other foreign destinations instead of coming back in the Philippines. Hubby is convincing me not to have our vacay here as we spend almost half of our lives in the country but go to Europe instead. And he need not convince me since I'm already totally set that we should go elsewhere. After all I have been to most of the places here in the country because of my previous job as well as spent time in some of the best vacation spot during our yearly summer vacation such as Boracay and Cebu.

Getting a Schengen Visa is easy as well as US Visa according to his officemates, just a letter of recommendation from their company and that's it. I told hubby we should defer our planned short vacay to Dubai this October since I would want to really save for the European trip. You know, I'm planning to visit my friends - LV and Chanel which hubby gladly approved, he said: that is why we will go to Europe to buy your bags. Haha.

We hope my sister-in-law's family can join us, getting a Schengen Visa in SA is quite a challenge since they are required for some "show money" apart from the booking details of the accommodation and flights. And after going through that its  not 100% sure yet that their visa will be approved, so its a big of gamble for them. But we do hope we could travel together.

We love travelling since it expand our horizon and truly a learning experiencing having been immerse in the culture if the country we're visiting.

Hubby wanted us to have dinner under moonlight in Paris, isn't he sooooo sweet? I'm so lucky to have him as a husband as he knows what makes me happy and give it to me wholeheartedly.

AND THE JOURNEY BEGIN

Step 1. Apply for NSO and Local Registry Copy of Birth and Marriage Certificate

According to DHL I will still need the local registry copy of our Birth and Marriage Certificates, I still cannot understand why will DFA still need this as I already have the NSO copies. Well, since I don't want to go to DFA myself, I went to Marikina City Hall to get a copy of our Marriage Cert.

Thankfully, Marikina City Hall is as efficient as ever. They even don't observe lunch break, however, since our record was endorsed already to NSO, they will just issue a certification and the NSO copy needs to be presented to them, so I head back home to retrieve it, silly me, I should have brought it in the first place.

I immediately came back and in less than 30mins I was able to get the certification at P100 per copy. Great service!

After a couple of days, I decided to go to Quezon City Hall where my and my daughter's birth certificates will be issued. I parked the car in a salon near V.Luna since I'm not familiar on how to get to the City Hall so I took a cab from there, its just a short ride, cost me P70 for fare.

I was able to locate the Civil Registry Office, went to the Window that process birth certificate copies, after listing our names and presenting it to the officer in charge, he went through the computer to check if they have our certificates on file, which I'm confident they have. After squinting into the screen monitor, he called our name again for me to confirm, and presented my ID. He gave me a short slip that says: P160 . I asked again if this is already for 4 copies and he said yes, well, this is a little cheaper, I thought it would be around P100 also. I went to their Treasury Office to pay, the line is quite long but fast moving. I was able to settle it in 15-20mins, however,it was already lunch time by the time I get back to the Local Registry Office. And since I'm in no mood to roam around to look for somewhere I can eat, I just ignore the hunger pangs, until 1 PM. At exactly 1 PM, the window re-opened again, and I was immediately attended, I presented the OR and the Officer told me to go back on Monday. I asked the Officer if there's a way he could give it to me today as I'm willing to wait since I'm not that too keen of going back again on Monday as I have an important meeting. He asked me why I can't wait until Monday, I reasoned to him that I live far and I need to be in the office as I am in a no work-no pay situation (but its not true, since I always get paid in full regardless of how many hours I rendered). And it worked! He told me to wait and he'll check if he can ask somebody to process my documents, after 15minutes, I was handed the certificates, I was really ecstatic, I swear I could give the Officer a hug, but that wouldn't be necessary hehe, so I gave him my sincerest thanks.

I immediately went to SM Marikina as I remembered I saw an DHL outlet their after gulfing a plate of spaghetti to send the documents to DFA for the red ribbon certification. Cost around P1,450 for the 3 sets of docs, after 4 days I was able to receive it back as promised. But the sad part is the Embassy is no longer accepting documents via DHL since their contract is about to expire by July 1. So I have to go to the Embassy by foot, line up and process it myself.

Step 2. Birth and Marriage Certificates Attestation by the Embassy.

My father agreed to accompany me to the Embassy as I'm not familiar with the place. We arrived at 8:30 AM, I immediately signed in myself in the "list". There are 2 list, one for direct and one for agency assisted applicants. I penned my name in the Direct list. And waited until my name was called around 10:30AM, I just came back from a few blocks away to have the red ribbon DFA cert copied, and upon lining up inside the embassy there's an announcement we need to submit 2 copies of  the attached documents and not the DFA cert so I went running back to the courier which took me 15 minutes. I swear my asthma is threatening to take over me, but I have to be strong as I am determined to accomplish something today, and not go home empty handed. Gladly I was able to make it in time, paid P1,050 for all 3 documents and was asked to return on Tuesday to pick up the documents.

FIRST DAY OF BEING A BUM...
Today marks the first day of me being a SAHM...

I was supposed to go to Pasig City Hall to retrieve my driver's license because I was apprehended for DTS almost a month ago hehe. Sorry, I couldn't find the time to settle my violation, however,my father who is supposed to drop me off there remembered that its Pasig Day today, so I just head back home and drive myself to our place in Cainta.

So how did I spend the day? mostly with online shopping, I was able to sort my make up and hubby's clothes to those we will bring to ME and those I will be giving away.

I was also ableto catch a flick: Ides of March in between online shopping and looking after my dear princess.  I spent the rest of the afternoon researching about embassy requirements and life there in Q.
