Last tuesday was the crappiest day of my life! Why? because I crashed my car and not while I was driving, it was when I thought I was safely parked in our company's parking area. I don't know what happened exactly, maybe it was me being careless and stupid, forgetting to put the car in "park" mode before attending to things. It will take a month before I can use it again, fortunately I was able to borrow dear brother's old car - or I'll be a commuter.
I still hate myself as I'm trying to rewind how I did it. Stupid, stupid me.
I know some of you might be wondering where am I? Well, I'm in neck-deep work and being a single mom doesn't help, oh God I terribly miss my husband! *Sob*Sob*Sob
I had to do everything all by myself, from driving to-and-from the places I needed to be to doing the grocery. I'm just glad that Hermione's nanny and our helper is doing a good job in taking care of my little chinita and the house or I would have gone insane by now.
Another thing that I hate most is that we don't have a decent internet connection at home, I'm still contemplating on getting a DSL line, I hope my brother-in-law could work something out to help me get plugged (without the bill, of course!), it would be a real life saver. And I can communicate with my dear husband as often as I like.
My driving skill is getting better, I'm glad I finally took time to learn how to, I have been meaning to drive for decades and it was only now that I had the heart to do it really. Well, I had no choice but to, don't I?
As planned, I left the house super early today - around 5:30 AM, to make my first trip to the office less hassle-free and I arrived at 6:00 AM safe and sound, and dent-free if I might add hehe except from some stupid cab drivers terrorizing me every now and then. I had to force myself to learn how to drive because I hate taking cabs and its much cheaper if I'll bring the car with me plus my life is in my hands and not in those PUVs driving like crazy.
But of course, come next week, when schools open, it will be a different story, do I need to go the office super extra early? Gosh, but of course that is just temporary as my driving skills improve I can bravely drive along in a bumper-to-bumper manner, but for now, I have to be on the safe side.
Last saturday I had my last driving session at 2A's Driving Institute where I enrolled for a 5-hour driving course. At the end of my 2nd session, I was able to drive home with my hubby's supervision and during my last day I was able to drive to-and-from Sta. Lucia Mall alone (take note), with a little dent on my side mirror hehe. Tomorrow, with hubby no longer here to drive for me, I will take the car with me to the office, that means I have to leave the house real early and come home very late (or earlier than the rest) so just I could avoid the traffic.
