Daddy or No Daddy
For several days now, I'm tempted to book a roundtrip flight to Manila then back to SG for my dear husband without him knowing it, so I can force him to get his butt back here for the little girl's 2nd birthday. He's schedule is not fixed yet so we're left hanging if he can go back for a quick trip to celebrate the chinita's birthday. I can't even plan for a party since I don't want to hold a party without him, so worst scenario - we'll just be celebrating it with a simple and intimate dinner with the family.

Well, if daddy will not be around, I have to work doubly hard to make Hermione's birthday memorable still.

Film Festival
I'm becoming more and more of a movie addict. I have seen almost all the movies being shown (atleast those that I like), thanks to Citibank for their promo, and thanks to the huge bill that I have with them I get to enjoy my own film festival.

I saw Eclipse 3x. Two weeks ago, I've seen Knight and Day, not just once but twice with my friends, then last Friday, I went out with my brothers to watch The Last Airbender and then last night me and my college BFFs decided to have an impromptu get-together to have dinner and catch the last full show of Salt. I even braved seeing Inception alone prior to that. All that for free!

I really miss being with my husband, he is a true-blue movie buff, and I feel guilty that I get to enjoy movie-all-you-can while he's just letting the movie playdates passed one after another because he's busy at work and the tickets are too pricey in SG, my poor darling.

The mom in me
I had a grand time with my little darling last weekend since yaya took a day off, we watched kiddie videos for hours and played the rest of the day. I always enjoy being with my little girl except that she is really exhausting me. Yaya told me that she is always behave when I'm not around and turns the total opposite when I'm there, maybe its her own little way of getting my attention. And I do hope someday that I don't need to go to work so I can be with her always.

My parents went to our place last Sunday to help me out with the airconditioning system, we had to transfer it outside since the current location is not suitable that made me pay a whopping P6,700 for a monthly-long usage, and it was just me, hermione and the 2 helpers in the house. I hope what we did this weekend would finally put our electrical consumption at a normal range.

When yaya arrived, me and my helper went to the grocery, when we returned home the little girl is already sleeping. I immediately called the newly opened Spa in the village for a 2-hour home service massage. I really love massage, I make it a point to have one on a weekly basis.

I also started exercising at home, I usually spend 30 minutes on a threadmill every morning  or late at night, I hope I could keep this up.

My little dalaga
Weeeeeeeeeeeeee. I got my car back! And as if nothing happened, not a trace of my stupidity. I swore I'll be more careful.

On another note, another reason to be happy is that my little chinita has finally graduated from her 6-month medication, I'm super glad that she's over it. Last weekend, we went to Trinoma after her regular  monthly check-up at St. Lukes so she could shop, play and have a grand time on her own little way. We went to Cuts 4 Tots - and this is her new do:

Isn't she cute?

And her latest addition to her collection, my Imeldific little one got this from Meet My Feet:

Another LVOE?

I'm loving the new LV Delightful in Monogram Canvas, I'm thinking of getting this baby instead of the Speedy 30 Azur.
 Decision, decision, decision.

Happy Birthday Naynay!
It's my mom's birthday, though, I'm not sure how old she is now,  I have to ask her later hehe. Well, my mom because of how vain she can be...is younger-looking than her age. People would mistake her as my sister, I hope I'm not that old-looking (I have to get that Olay Regenerist Cream later, just to be on the safe side). Well dear brother came to the house to pick us up, and somehow I found myself stuck here in our parental home, the party is so boring considering that I didn't know most of the guests. Lucky me there's FB to keep me company while the little girl is taking her nap with yaya.

Yesterday I went to SL and got mom her present, what else but make-up! She's really into make-up - I remember when we were little she would put make-up on her face before going to bed because she wanted to look fabulous if ever she'll die on her sleep. Yes! that's how crazy she is...up until now. I super love my mom, she may not be the perfect mom, but I love her still the same. With the two of us together, I'm the more mature one, lecturing her on life and marriage hehe. I dunno, I would always be the one "parenting" my parents in a way. Gladly, they are super cool about me bossing them around at times.

SG Trip
We're going to Singapore! I decided to pay my dear husband a visit on his birthday week, gladly he is off from his duty on that week as well. It will be my first time to travel alone with my little chinita and I'm starting to imagine things will not that be easy for me, especially that she's being so stubborn lately. And its making me insane, especially that her daddy is not around to take turns in taking care of her.

I asked dear hubby to prepare the itinerary for our August trip - Sentosa Park and Universal Studio would definitely be on the list. Plus shopping, shopping, shopping! Poor me, yaya will not be able to come with us since she doesn't have a passport yet but we're working on that already - maybe on our next trip she'll be able to join us. I'm thinking of going to Disneyland before Chirstmas but my sister-in-law would definitely hate me if we go alone without them, but we're still not sure if they can pay us their usual summer visit next year considering that they will be flying to Europe this October. I do hope we can still see them on summer or I would definitely miss them!

Movie World: Eclipse

Of course, I can never let the first day of Eclipse slip without me seeing it. I watched with Bes and Jojo, we practically lined up for 30 minutes just to get tickets and sat on the stairs all throughout the movie, I dunno if its just sitting-on-the-floor thing that made me think that the movie was not that great. Well, I'll be watching it again tonight with my college friends, so I can finally have my verdict.

-o-
As planned, we arrived at Gateway Mall, a little past 7PM and driving there was a total nightmare, with me not that familiar with the roads and the parking area seems like Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter movie... My friend T has been lining up trying to get tickets for over 2 hours when we arrived, lucky us there is a dedicated lane for Citibank card holders for their movie promo, and we were able to get our tickets in 5 minutes - no sweat! We had dinner at Cibo for my post-birthday celebration before going to the movie. Our dear friend R called us and we're so happy to hear her voice, I hope I can see her in SG this August. I was unhappy learning that my friend T is going through a tough time, I hope everything will end well for both of them. God has reasons, you just have to put your trust in Him.

As for Eclipse, well I love it! though I found the fight scenes between the Newborn Army vs. Cullens + Werewolves kinda short, and I didn't expect Victoria would die that easily in Edward's hand, I'm thinking it would be a long fight considering that Victoria is supposedly "lethal" as  the book described her. And I hate the new Victoria - Bryce Dallas Howard, I like Rachel Lefevre more, she certainly had Victoria's character come alive, Bryce looks like a cat than a vampire. I think it was a bad call for Summit to replace her, definitely a bad one.

Well, my love for Jacob did not subside from the time he outshone Edward in New Moon, he's correct in every way in saying that he's totally hotter than Edward, but  Edward is sssooooooo good-looking too (in a different way) especially in the tent scene with Bella and Jacob...Well, I'm confuse now! I now understands Bella's predicament har har har.
