HERMIONE'S 4TH BIRTHDAY
We planned to celebrate Hermione's 4th Birthday in Qatar, however, since our Visa was held up by the Ramadan season, by 1st week of September, I've rested my case and accepted that we will staying here atleast for the time being.

So I told the hubby, I should start planning for Hermione's birthday party. After her grand 1st birthday, we usually throw a simple celebration every year, with just the family. But this year, since its going to her last birthday here in Pinas, we decided to hold it at Girls Home Orphanage, to make it extra special.

The theme: Barbie

I went to McDonalds and Jollibee to check on their packages, however the latter has better birthday party package, I ordered food good for 130 people, that would cover the kids at GH, GH staff, suppliers and us (both Balladas and Buncalans).

My mum, bro and I went to Divi for the giveaways and game prizes. I don't like the giveaways from Jollibee since its so "kiddie", age bracket of the residents in Girls Home are from 5 - 17 years old, so Jollibee giveaways will not suit everyone. I picked a barbie stationary set and fan for giveaways, while for the game prizes: barbie towels, crayons, lunch box and pens.

Tito Jeric sponsored a huge goldilocks cake good for 100++ and Tatay Dave gave Hermione a nestle ice cream cart that she can share to kids of Girls Home. The girls love it! It was a sure fire hit, especially the ice cream cart from Nestle.

Hubby requested me to book a photographer and videographer to cover the event. And these two suppliers were really good and cheap too! They were able to deliver to me the output the day after. Great work!

I was soooooo happy celebrating my little girl's birthday with the less fortunate children of Girls Home, we do hope we were able to make them happy even for a day.

Hope we can celebrate more birthdays like this one :)

MY BESTFRIEND'S WEDDING
September seems to be my busiest month...

It was my bestfriend's wedding last September 8 where I'm the Matron of Honor (thought I would never be one, whew!), glad she finally got married :) I couldn't be more happier :)

I wore a Vera Wang inspired gown  in midnight blue. Love it! While my little lady is a flower girl. I got to pick also the gown for the little girls.

She seems like a little Miss already :)

FIT
Yes, I'm ready for my medical exam for my Visa. Last April, I had myself checked and my cholesterol level is shooting up. So I had to slowly work on my diet. I still eat red meat, carbs and chocolates of course. And I sooooo love Burgers, Pizza and Pasta but I learned to eat just enough, I used to eat as if it was my last day haha.

I'm also into veggie salad and tea. In the last 2 weeks I also managed to cut back on rice.

When I had my latest medical exam (not yet the official one), all my tests came back
NORMAL. Thank God!

Now, I'm just waiting for the Visa and my boxes from Amazon and I'm ready to go!

A FLAT
The darling hubby finally found a place for us in Qatar, its a flat with 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1 hall and dining unit located at Al Sadd. Walking distance to a number of shopping mall, including Villagio Mall.

I could never be more happier, with the malls just a few feet away.

And the best part is, we got it for usually 2000 QR cheaper than the going rate in that area. Hubby is so excited to furnish our place, he immediately bought a 55" Sony Smart 3D LED TV and I can just imagine him grinning from ear-to-ear.

He went also to a furnishing shop called Doha City and got us a beautiful bedroom set. We are doing the furnishing shopping together, with the help of Viber, he would take pictures and then I will check what looks nice, price is also a consideration since we're trying not to fully consume our furniture grant. Once we agree on something to buy, the credit card will take it from there hehe.

I love remote shopping!

BRIDAL SHOWER
I have been busy the last 2 weeks preparing for the bridal shower for my bestfriend.

To make it relaxing, I employed the services of En Spa for body massage, foot spa, mani and pedi. For food, I prepared light and incredibly healthy food for a change: veggie salad, chicken wrap, but I also had baked lasagna, pastries and chocolates :)

For giveaways, I prepared a bag with foot and facial spa stuff.

For the bride - I gave her super sexy underwears from La Senza, facial wash from Philosophy and Hair Accessories for her Wedding Day :)

And I love throwing parties!

OUR NEW RIDE
Finding car in Qatar can be very stressful, why? because of the wide range of vehicles you can choose from, that is within your reach...vehicles in Qatar are relatively cheaper compare here. So its make it harder to decide...

So what did we get? Chevrolet Captiva 2012 (White)

A very good choice for a family vehicle. With 12 years warranty on parts and services, you wouldn't get that here, I'm starting to love Qatar.

This is mostly for hubby anyway.

For me and Hermione, maybe this would to just fine. *Wink*Wink* And so the hubby is more excited than the ladies of the house.

Hummer H3
