Sleepless in QC...
I had a long night last night, desperately trying hard to sleep before 12MN but failed I ended up with 6 hours of sleep only.

My boss asked me to decide and give her feedback early next week, if I want to stay in my current department or move to another. I decided to move, I'm becoming bored with my work. Honestly, what I wanted to do is to resign from my current post and just be a plain housewife, take wedding coordination seriously. Speaking, we are beginning to get a lot of inquiries from prospective clients, I hope we will be able to do good here.

I spent my day mostly researching and 5 hours meeting my team. We will be celebrating Joy's birthday tomorrow. I'm so excited to see my friends!

Sleepy
It was almost 2AM when I finally found sleep, that's why, I'm a little sleepy today.

Gosh, there is so much work to do but I find myself a little bit not that interested in work anymore...I don't know what's happening to me, it seems that I need a break...a new motivation. If only I could just simply quit my job, I've been working for 8 years straight...with so little vacation leave not leading to more than a week.
-----

I finished reading Confessions of a Shopaholic last night, I'll be starting on a new ebook, of course still by Sophie Kinsella. I plan to go home early today to cook for my hubby.

Confessions of a Shopaholic...
I'm having a problem with posting here, it seems that blogger has limitation on number of characters per post. Until, I'm not that familiar on how this works, I shall limit my entries to short ones hehe.

I'm halfway reading Confessions of Shopaholic and somehow I feel that I need to reassess our financial situation. You see for the past couple of months, I was not able to save from our earnings, so from now on I vowed to Cut Back on our expenses by:
  • Segregate the budget money from the savings by putting it into different accounts. Savings Account are not to be touch unless in extreme emergency situations.
  • Live by the budget. If I want to buy something that is not budgeted, I should cut down on other expenses.
  • Check for altenative brands to purchase instead of the pricey regular buys.
  • Limit eat-outs to twice a month.
  • Save on electricity by always checking lights, electric fans. Limit the ironing of clothes to once a week and do not iron everything. Do watch movies downstairs to save on airconditioning system.
  • Wait 'til we can afford to buy what we want, do not take advantage of credit cards.

These are the doable things I can think of as of now. I hope we can really follow these.

Last week...
I'm here again in my office chair, I kinda miss sitting here. I was on vacation leave last week but instead of going to Puerto Galera, we just stayed home since I was sick, it began last Friday I felt my throat is burning like hell, I had trouble swallowing and as the afternoon passes, my fever started to manifest, but I had to stay at the office 'til 8PM since its our department meeting and I don't want to cancel it again.

Come weekend, I just stayed mostly in bed, sleeping and being nursed by my loving hubby. I felt better by Tuesday and decided to go to SM North for grocery, mostly junk foods. We also bought 2 whole cakes from Red Ribbon, talking about being hungry for so long.

Last Wednesday, we went to Cainta to visit my in-laws, had our lunch there and went to Sta. Lucia Health Care for a checkup on my stomach, leg and throat. Luckily, I'm almost okay except for the hyperacidity, the doctor advised me to walk around the office so my leg wouldn't hurt from the lack of activity hehe. We also seen an ob-gyne who advised us to have timed intercourse this Month. You see, we are trying to have a baby since early this year, but apparently no baby yet for us since I have an retroverted uterus for a start...she also told us what's the best intercourse position for cases like me, she will then see us next month to check other limitations and hopefully fix it.

By Thursday, I was not feeling well again, stayed home 'til Friday, watching movies, marathons of 24, CSI. I was so lucky to have hubby in the house too, cooking for me, nursing me...

By Saturday, I felt a lot better, hubby cleaned the sala, we watched Da Vinci Code but it took us 10 years to get tickets at Gateway Mall...I also got a mag and Confessions of a Shopaholic. Got home around 12MN.

Sunday comes, spend it cleaning the house, hubby mostly, while I went to the Salon for my manicure and pedicure and straight to supermarket for some ingredients. After I got home, I cooked the sloggy bananas from my in-laws and turned it to Banana Que and cooked Sinigang na Liempo for our dinner. After watching TV and reading 2 chapters of my new book which is a must-read, I say! I bid my hubby goodnight.

Saving for the rainy days...
Wow! Rainy season have started...

After 9 hours of sleep, I still feel sleepy...I know, its because of the weather. Hubby went out early bidding me a goodbye kiss while I'm still half-asleep to go to Sybase - Ortigas for his certification exam on Linux.

While I decided to get up at 8:30 AM and by 10:00 AM, I'm already here at the office, had a cup of coffee for breakfast. I'm starting to get annoyed to some of my staff...I spent 1 hour lecturing them last night and still the sage continues today...hay.

I updated our expense file, only to find out that we will not be able to save this Month. We had several major expenses like additional furnitures, car-related expenses, house-related expenses and personal stuff that are due for payment. Based on our cash-flow projection, we should be saving around 20K per month which never happened since January, hay. I think I need to reassess our cash flow. We did spend a lot when we moved to our own apartment. I feel that we should stop spending for house-related stuff and just be contented for a while for what we have. Hubby gives his earning to me and just get his personal allowance while I on the other hand keep the expense file updated and see to it that we saves from our earnings....This June, I'll see to it that we will live by our budget.

No baby yet...
I'm beginning to get paranoid last weekend because of my delayed menstrual period...I'm soooooo excited for us to have a baby, actually hubby is more excited than I am, that's why when my friend  Ivy persuaded me to buy a preg test kit  so I would know right away if I'm preggy or not, I went to the drugstore and bought 2 preg test kits. I immediately went home hoping that Mr. Buncs is still around and tested myself, and to my dismay it's NEGATIVE. Hay, I'm really disappointed. Sadness.

I told Mr. Buncs that I've tested myself and its negative, he told me not to get too pressured about getting pregnant, he reassured me that it's okay if we don't have aa baby yet...but deep inside I'm still sad about the whole thing.

I asked him if we can go to the mall instead to buy aircon...we went home with a 1.0HP Panasonic Aircon, its more expensive than  other aircon brands, I don't why and I'm kinda hoping we bought Ccarrier or LG instead,  we we're sales talked into buying it. Anyway, we got it for 12 months 0% interest - not bad, I just hope that its really reliable. I told myself never to let any sales man/woman for that matter sell us stuff but to do our own research specially if its a big ticket item like this one.

The next morning still feeling depress over "not-being-preggy", I called my bro to help me install the A/C, we went to Cubao for lunch, roamed around and went to shopwise to do my grocery. We went back to our apartment and I cooked fried GG and Adobong Sitaw for Mr. Buncs, he was soooo excited when he saw what I'm cooking, GG is his favorite btw.

Long tiring weekend...
I met my friends Sesil and Joy last Friday at Gateway Mall, we missed being together that they ended up sleeping at our apartment because we tried to fill each others with our kwentos.

My hubby fetched us from Starbucks after his game and a couple of beers with his friends. We slept past 3AM chatting in our room while Mr. Buncs slept on the couch. The next morning I prepared tocino, tuyo, dried pusit and rice for breakfast then we headed to Sta. Lucia where Mr. Buncs dropped us off to go on shopping while he drove to their place in Cainta to get a few things and greet his Kuya - it was his birthday.

I got a new pair of shoes from City Girl and a few table centerpices from one of the stall there then we headed to Marikina. We bought lechon manok and pancit as pasalubong, its also my brother's birthday.

After pigging out, Mr. Buncs took a nap while I exchanged stories with my mum....I missed being with my family. Around 5PM we went to my lola's wake, stayed there chatting with my cousins 'til 12MN.

Yesterday, we spent our day resting, catching LOST and Dr. House episodes. As the evening approaches we busied ourselves with household chores, hubby ironed our clothes while I cleaned the 2 rooms upstairs. I will be cleaning the sala hopefully this week.

As I vacuum our room, I contemplated on whether to push through twith our vacation plans, it will be better to just stay here in Manila next week than to go to Puerto Galera since its so hot and I'm not a "beach" person, I will enjoy more my 5 days VL at home, watching movies, getting spa, eating out. I suggested that we buy aircon with our budget instead...which hubby agreed.

I'm 3 days delayed, I'm getting excited and anxious as each day passes...I really hope and pray that I'm pregnant.

Want to be preggy...
I just came back from the caravan, I reported at 5:30 AM here in the office then we headed to Malabon where the Serbisyo Muna Caravan of GMA will be held, as we are one of the participants.

After munching a couple of yema candies, I went blog hopping and I was happy to find out that one of my
co-w@wie is pregnant already as I read through her story I was secretly hoping that I will soon get pregnant too...but my hopes are running low this time since I got the signs that I'll be having my menstruation soon...I usually have bad headaches and a huge pimple before my mens, on the side kwento, Mr.Buncs and I watched MI3 last night, it was a nice movie though Mr. Buncs kept on insisting the MI2 is better, I didn't argue since I can't remember the story hehe.

Wash Day
Whooah!

Great to be back here in the office - I'm not excited about work but the A/C here. It's really hot outside.

We are planning to go to Coco Beach on mid May, I had a reservation, I'm just waiting for the confirmation from the hotel staff. As preparation, we headed to Gateway Mall last Monday to find a perfect bag from Nike but ended up empty handed since we couldn't find something that would fit to our taste. Anyway, we will be going to Sta. Lucia tonight to continue the search.

We went home early last night - I did the laundry for 4 whole hours...it was so tiring, I was really kinda pissed off to myself since most of the clothes belonged to me, I'm glad that my hubby helped me. We had noodles and egg as our dinner - I was planning not to have dinner but since my stomach is starting to react violently - I obliged to its desire hehe.

My long weekend...
Back to the real world...

Last week was a very tiring week for me, after the launching of our new project, we headed to Subic White Rock Hotel last Friday as part of the company's advance party. We arrived around 7PM, headed to our hotel room then went out for Dinner. At 12NN, I retired as I was really really tired...the spa I had last Thursday evening at City Lifestyle didn't helped.

We had a great time with the games and the party afterwards, nevermind the hotel staffs whose giving us a hard time. At 12MN, I decided to go back to our room and had a good night sleep while the rest are up till the wee of the hours making themselves drunk. I don't drink, I simply does not like it.

In the morning we went swimming after trying the banana boat, it was fun! We arrived home part 7PM, I ended sleeping early. I woke up early the next day and prepared breakfast for my hubby...then went on snooze mode after eating breakfast. We then met my bro at Gateway to get our car back, we bought kitchen organizers and some personal stuff. I colored my hair since its cheaper to just buy from the drugstore, I saved around 1K+ by just doing it at home...and my hair turns nice...

We are going home early today since I need to do laundry. Before I forgot, I had henna tattoos at my right hand and foot =)
