NOW AT 120 LBS...
I'm now at 120 lbs.

Since I stopped working I lost 6 lbs. but can't seem to move it down, being sickie with Dengue finally pushed the button that made me lose the 4 lbs. Now, I'm at 120 lbs. with no diet, no exercise. I still don't have the energy to do badminton, hubby bought me a new badminton apparel for some inspiration. Hope to get back to it soon.

8 more pounds to go and I'll be a happy mommy :) 112 lbs. is my pre-wedding weight and I want to see myself in my old Replay jeans, esp. that there is no longer Replay stores here in the country. Yes, I still keep them, because I know I will use them again, and I have been keeping it for 6 years now, hehe. Hope to use it real soon, before it melts. Yaiks.

MY GIFTS...
We weren't able to celebrate Valentines and our 6th Wedding Anniversary decently being sickie and all that, but hubby didn't forget to give me my presents:

1) Missha BB Cream - and he gave me not just 1 but 3 tubes of it. I'm covered for the year :)
2) New iPAD Cover - it made my iPAD much safer esp. when the little girl is trying to break it hehe.
3) Shopping Spree - and I thought I would never buy again clothes, but who couldn't resist a Forever 21 trip???

Thanks my dear hubby for the presents. Love everything you got me!

THE BEST WAY TO CELEBRATE RECOVERY: GO MALL-ING!
We celebrated our recovery with 3-day shopping spree, yep, that's how elated we are from being out of the hospital. On Wednesday, we went to the nearby mall and hubby and I were able to score new maong pants. Yes, I badly need a new one, since I trimmed down 10 lbs. now that I'm no longer working, yipee!

Come Thursday, we headed to Megamall, our first stop was at Baby Co. where we bought the little girl a nice dress, 5 pants (for our anti-dengue campaign), 3 pairs of shoes ( I know I swore not to buy her another pair, not until she wore everything that I bought for her last year, but then again, I'm just a hopeless shopaholic mom ), a new set of plate and cup, a tangled-inspired slipper, 8 pair of socks (again to keep her away from dengue), no fluoride toothpaste and a head-to-toe wash.

Then we went to Forever 21, after trying on a lot of stuff there, I went with a bag of dresses. Trying on a lot of dresses made me hungry, and I wanna whip away that hunger with a grand trip to the Orchard Road. I've been meaning to go to the Singaporean-inspired resto but knowing me, I hate long driving, yes a drive from our place to Megamall is already considered a long drive in my opinion hehe. Of course I ordered my fave - Hokkien Mee, Char Siew Asado Pao, Pork Siew Mai while the husband had Char Kway Teow. We ordered Kaya Toast for the little girl which she did not touch and ended up in our refrigerator. And the price?Well, its quite reasonable, within the hawker-price range I think when you're in SG but here you get to enjoy your meals in an air-conditioned and nicely designed resto. I would surely go back for more! We were able to buy some healthy foodies for the little girl at Kultura - Camote Chips, Banana Chips and Malunggay-based Juices.

We had to cut our trip short since wouldn't want to be stuck in the traffic so we decided to continue our shopping trip at the nearest mall to our place, I was able to pick-up another dress from my favorite store - Plains and Prints and hubby got a new pair of Nike rubber shoes.

We ate at the newly renovated French Baker before heading home. By Friday, we went to Echostore to buy some anti-mosquito lotions and all-natural chips for the little  girl and my in-laws. We decided to catch a movie afterwards.

DENGUE ALERT
Who would think that a little mosquito can do such harm on people? I hate mosquitoes! In fact, hubby and I launched a war against them, we bought every anti-mosquito we can find in the market after being confined in the hospital and being sick of Dengue for more than a week.

Hubby went sickie on Wednesday, complaining about his aching joints, I took care of him, feeding him, giving him meds and massages. Good thing I was able to buy the Braun Thermoscan making temp monitoring a breeze. By Thursday, my MIL reported that our household help also has fever with matching joint pains. So I single-handedly took care of them plus the little girl. I even managed to cook comfort foods and clean the house while I look after them. The next day, I feel sick too, but I needed to be a "super mom" so I just shrug it off and went on with my duties. Hubby told me to sleep early since he can sense that I'm not really feeling well so I took his suggestion and left Hermione to him. The next day, hubby told me that I have been feverish the whole night so I took a shower and took him, me and the little girl to Medical City for check-up. The peds recommended Loraped and Ambroxol for the little girl, while my CBC showed that I had viral infection and was recommended to take antibiotics for the next 3 days. The hubby was suspected to have Dengue since his platelet count was below the normal range, he was asked to go back the next day for another CBC. We trooped down to the lab for another CBC, this time I also brought our household help for CBC and Urinalysis. Our household help has UTI and was prescribed antibiotics for a week. My platelet count is going down but hubby's latest platelet count went up by a notch but the doctor suggested we have another round of CBC just to make sure. So off we go the next day for another blood extraction, my platelet count is still going down but hubby's went down to 84. The doctor told us we should be confined for Dengue, but I insisted that I would have my hubby first confined before me because I needed to make the necessary arrangements for the little girl. So we went home to get some things and went to Marikina Valley Hospital (surely not our hospital of choice, but its nearer and since we will both be confined, we might as well choose a place that our parents can easily go to), we went to the ER, the doctor confirmed that hubby should be confined immediately, there was no room available
except for the ward. After settling things for hubby, I went home to prepare Hermione's things, I phoned my parents earlier telling them that I will be depositing the little girl  for days because we will be hospitalized. Then I texted my brother to accompany me in the hospital. I was not feeling well and I think the Dengue is getting its tall on me, so at 6AM the next day, I asked the 2 household help to get up so we can go to our paternal house while I can still drive.

I was feeling worst, because I wasn't able to take care of my hubby and little girl, being too sick! I hate it. Good thing, my brother went with me, he arranged my confinement while I hang around hubby's room because I was chilling at the ER. I really hate that hospital! So days went, our platelet count still going down, hubby was discharged on Thursday afternoon after his CBC showed that his platelet count is steadily increasing - Thank God, I thought he'll be needing blood transfusion. While I was discharged on Sat evening after pleading to the doctor to let me out since my platelet count has been steadily climbing towards the normal range. I was so excited to go home to see my darling daughter. God I missed her so much. I'm just glad that she was not bitten by that nasty little bug.

The next few days were spent going back to the doctor for follow-up check ups and CBCs. By Tuesday afternoon, we we're 100% cured from Dengue.

Hubby immediately went to the hardware store and bought a lot of anti-mosquito gadgets, from electrical mosquito killer, to bug spray, to anti-mosquito band. Name it, we have it! That's how we hate mosquitoes.

COOKING KA!
I must be going crazy, I'm literally dreaming about cooking! Yes, I would wake up in the middle of night and be worried of what to cook for tomorrow...and instead of shopping for clothes, shoes and bags, I'm looking at pans and cooking sets while in the mall. I even asked my mom to buy me a set of palayok. And would you believe that I spend almost 3 hours in the grocery, looking for ingredients?!

What's happening to me??? Today, I cooked Paksiw na Isda (Sour Fish) and Beef Caldereta. I'm really becoming more and more domesticated each day...and my waistline is suffering from being always in the kitchen.

BANGKOK, MY SHOPPING HAVEN...
Yesterday, my sister-in-law and I booked an impromptu flight to Bangkok, Thailand for a shopping spree this coming May. They will be arriving on the 4th week of April and she was quite frustrated about us not pushing through with our SG Trip so I suggested we fly to Bangkok so we could do some shopping together instead...

Her hubby insisted on going with us -making us missed the seats on sale by just a few minutes, so we have to move our flight to weekdays, I guess I could take a couple of days off from work. My brother-in-law also asked me to book him a flight so he could join. I wonder about my husband, he's not interested in going back to Bangkok...

So since last night I have been burning my netbook trying to look for a decent hotel where we could stay, SIL will be doing the IT, she wanted to go on cruise, unfortunately our schedule is quite tight so I guess we can only do a dinner cruise.

I'm so excited to go back to Bangkok, I can still remember how cheap the shoes, dresses and accessories there. So in prep, I'm on a cease-shop mode effective today.

SO HAPPY TOGETHER
Yes! The husband is here since Sat morning, we (with my BILs) fetched him at Eastwood where our good friend drop him off. We slept 'til 10AM and had a wonderful breakfast together with the little girl - Sinangag, Fried Egg Tocino, Longanisa and Hotdog.

Then we went to my parents for lunch and played badminton in the evening. Sunday was spent sleeping and a quick shopping and early dinner with my parents and brothers.

Last monday, me and the husband went out for a movie date - at last I have a date! We watched "Season  of the Witch" complete with hotdog and popcorn hehe. We also went to the grocery and bought the little  girl a bigger pool. Come the next stay, I found the little girl with his daddy giggling at the pool.

The husband is totally hooked with my dishes, tehehehe.
