HO HO HO
This is what the little girl got as her Christmas present, we add up the cash gifts given to her by her lolos, lolas and titos so we can buy her this. At first, we were on the look out for a bike but couldn't find one that suits her age. I always wanted to buy her a slide, I even thought of getting her a Step 2 slide at the Kidz Kraze sale but getting it home in a car would be a problem so I immediately dismissed the idea. She adores it!

Aside from that, her dad also gave her Disney's Cinderella Doll, she also got tons of barbie dolls and dresses from her loving godparents and relatives. While hubby gave me a Lenovo netbook and its so pink like I imagined it would be, love it to bits! While for the man of the house - he got himself (as my gift, although he paid for it - only because I forced him to do so) - A Canon DSLR. At last he have one. The husband is also sporting a new phone, after 5 years he got a new one - and i Phone 4 it is. So happy for the husband.

Thank you Lord for all the blessings that you have continued to shower onto us, more importantly for the love.

GOODBYES...
Hubby is on his way to airport now, I hate saying goodbyes, I'm not good at it. So I decided to blog, to dismiss the blues away. I hope we can join him soon next year, so I decided to be serious with job-hunting.

While he was here he always teases me about FBing most of the time, I wanted to blog to but I'm afraid he's gonna throw my new Lenovo netbook.

I'm happy that we were able to celebrate the Christmas together, and made it special for the little princess. He was equally happy to see his "mini-me" again, potty-trained already and such a wonderful performer - dancing and singing to his delight and she's really good in story-telling. We're so proud of my little Hermione.

CHRISTMAS 1 TO 10
What do you know, it's barely 8 days before Christmas...every year we go over the routine of preparing for Christmas...but we never grow tired, even if what we do is exactly the same over and over...maybe that is what we call Christmas spirit.

For me, my Christmas radar seems to go all up because of the following:

1. Traffic. Well traffic seems to be a regular thing here in the country especially in metropolis , but I never imagine it could get worse this holiday season. The usual 30-minute ride will take like forever, is it that people tends to go out more or cars suddenly multiply gazillion times during December? Maybe both.

2.Crime. While the people in the workforce are excited to get their 13th month and bonuses, the crooks are equally excited about getting their share of your bonuses, of course after BIR had their cut (but legally).

3. SALE. My heartbeat seems to go faster when I see these letters spelled side by side with each other and written in bold red color. And I see them almost every weekend during the BER months. I love going to SALE, and I bet SALE loves me and my credit cards.

4. TAXI. Yes, we should put up hate campaign for them during December (or maybe the whole year round). As if all of a sudden LTFRB gave them the license to refuse using  their meter, dictating to charge double your usual fare with that arrogant/snobby face they project whenever they feel like taking you to your destination. Choosy eh.

5. GARBAGE TRUCK. While the salesman and most of the people are relaxing, the garbage collectors seems to be working doubly hard in this time of the year. I always hear their truck chumming those cute melodies say 3x a week during December (and only during this month). I know, I know, so they can distribute their white envelopes. Geez

6. DIET. People tend to be more and more on diet just to fit in their Christmas party outfit, but somehow ends up getting bigger. Well, blame it on that darn LECHON that's always present in every party. I'm sure Lydia could never been happier.

7. MERALCO BILL. With all the lights up, especially the Christmas decors, MVP is all smiling with his sky-rocketing revenue.

8. COINS. I'm coin-less, carolers took them all!

9. OFW. Seat sales left and right, our heroes loves to come home this time of the year. Well, nothing beats celebrating Christmas here in the Philippines as compared to any part of the globe. That's why I forced my husband to book a flight so we can celebrate Christmas together.

10. ZOMBIES. I see more and more of them trying their best not to close their eyes during Simbang Gabi. As for me, I love the Bibingka and Puto Bumbong that the walking zombies gets to bring home every mass.

SUN
I had to forced myself yesterday out of the house to do some errands: 1) Pay the Manila Water bills (of us and my MIL) 2) Go to Sun Cellular Shop to have my Sun Broadband Lite deactivated since I already got my Unlimited Broadband last November 3) Shop for more Christmas presents.

I arrived at Robinson's Mall nearly 5 o'clock since I cannot get out the house without the little Ms. noticing, I immediately went to BDO but was advised by the guard that the bank is not accepting payments for Manila Water, he pointed me to LBC just right across the bank. I didn't have to wait long because there were just 2 customers at LBC, I then went to Mercury Drug to pick up some whitening cream to lighten up my pimple marks (since I always end up sleeping late watching or reading) and Muntilukast tablets for my dear Bechay.

My next stop was Sun Cellular Shop, I pulled a number on their queuing machine, I got No. 40 then I looked at the screen - its says: Serving Customer No. 19, I immediately went out and headed to the department store, I might as well go shopping than seat and wait for my turn. I managed to get a couple of tops for myself at Maldita. My wardrobe composed majority of business suits, so I needed some laid-back outfits to fill my closet. I was also able to buy gifts for my ex-officemates and college friends.

At 6 o'clock I went back to Sun Cellular Shop, they're already serving Customer No. 48, I asked them to put me next in line since I missed my turn, they deactivated my Broadband Lite and I asked the representative if the Unlimited Sun-to-Sun Text applies even if the recipient is in SG (in roaming mode), she said yes. With that, I applied for another line, because I passed the first line that I got from Sun to my brother since I'm not able to maximize it because I have a company phone at the time, but now, I can unlimitedly text my husband and he can just reply via YM which also I get to receive for free - that's for all Sun's subscriber. Apart from that, I had my plan  set as - Text Unlimited for Sun-to-Sun and the P200 (of my Plan 350) is consumable (so I can call landline and other network) + 250 free text messages to other network  - instead of the usual Unlimited Text-and-Call for Sun-to-Sun subscribers. Plus...I also got this for free:

I will just leave my other phone with Sun's prepaid sim at home so I can communicate with Hermione's yaya when I'm out. When I was with Smart, I used to spend more aside from hubby needing to reload his prepaid so he can text me (on top of his post-paid via M1). This means more savings for us apart from Sun's signal in our area is super strong compare to smart or globe where I needed to go out of the house just to be able to hear the other side.

MOVIE DATE
I love watching movies and so is hubby - but now that he's working in SG, my constant movie dates are my brothers and their girlfriends who became my little sisters. Last Friday, Jerico, Lynn and I trooped to Movie World to see Narnia - The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

After I had my eye checked at Medical City, I went to every optical shop to get myself protective glasses - I swore not to play badminton again if I can't find one, lucky me I found one for quite a steel. Then I met my movie dates and we had dinner at Chef de Angelo. We had the 8 o'clock 3D screening and thanks to my Citibank slips for the P500 off.

Being a bum has its advantages, for one, my brothers always treats me for lunch or dinner + movies. Also, my dear brother promised to get me a Macbook soon. **Wink**Wink**

Before I forget, did I mention that Caspian is breathtakingly HOT? Well he is.

RED EYE
I missed my first badminton tournament today because I got hit by that stupid shuttlecock while on practice last Thursday. At first, I was really worried that I'll go blind, I was cursing myself what on earth am I doing looking back at the shuttlecock that passed me??? I'm sure my coach who doubled with me at that game can take care of that, good thing that he was not in front of me, or smashing it before touching my eye or else I'm dead!

I was immediately brought to the bench and after 30  minutes of rest I call it a night, I stayed for an hour in the "temp" home before driving myself home. In the morning I have to wear sunglasses the whole time since even the slightest ray of light is making me shriek...I went to the doctor and was advised to put antibiotic drops and cold compress to the infected eye. The doctor also discouraged me from playing badminton because of the danger it goes with it, especially in the eyes. She told me that she has a lot of patients who went blind just from playing badminton. Scary huh?

But I will not let go of badminton that easy, I already bought badminton rackets along with my cute outfit, aside from the 5 lbs I shed because of it. So I decided to get myself a protective eyewear instead. Yes that would solve it!

OOOPPPSSS! I DID IT AGAIN...
I have a lot of things to do, but somehow I like to bum just a little more. After all, I deserve it! Well...my daily routine goes like wakeup, drink coffee while checking fb,emails, chat with my hubby and friends, play and watch videos with Hermione, go to the mall, cook (when I feel like it), shower, play badminton,go to the mall, watch teleseryes or tv series, sleep. Oh I forgot eat, east and eat.

I sometime sleep at past 3AM, I don't have to worry about not getting enough sleep and waking up early.

Today, after chatting with my friends, I went to the mall to meet my mom, she wanted to buy a new microwave oven but the truth is she just want to be out of the house and have some "me" time. Our paternal house is being renovated so my family has to move to the apartment unit in front of it. While I need to settle some credit card bills over-the-counter because it cannot be done online or via ATM, tsk tsk. I also had the bath towels embroidered and wrapped.

Then, my "no-to-shopping" vow went off the window when I saw this...

But I got the Natural Canvas, although mom is insisting for me to get the red one. I settled for a safer color so I can wear it more often.

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING STARTS TODAY...
I officially started my Christmas Shopping today.

Every year I would promise myself that I would start my Christmas Shopping real early, as in January! But then again every year I would find myself getting all stressed out because I'm still wrapping presents right before Noche Buena starts.

This year I'm determined not to be in the same situation. I was able to finalized my list this morning, taking note of the gifts sitting in our storage room. After much fussing I was able to assign most of the gifts which means big savings on our part not just on the money but storage spaces as well.

Aside from completing my Christmas shopping early, my biggest challenge this year is not to go overboard with my very very little shopping money. Not like before, I used to spend thousands for family gifts, giving them bags, watches, sunnies and perfumes. This year - since I'm a bum, I have limited funds you see.

So I have to be creative, and by creative I mean go beyond my usual gift selections. Then a brilliant idea came to me as I was browsing through the home section of Robinson's Department Store, why not give personalized bath towels??? with their names embroidered on it! For sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, and for my parents, I included a half dozen more face towels for my father for his badminton game. I'm sure he's gonna love them! While I can still remember how envious my mom was when she saw the big towels which had our names on it for our Boracay trip last summer. So I'm definite she'll be thrilled when she sees those big His and Her towels that I got them. Of course, I need to have them embroidered next week.

I also got towels for my angels in the house, who makes my life easy. For my brothers, I'm thinking of getting them wrist band from Nike. For Jimboy, our youngest, something badminton-related. For my in-laws, this is the always the hardest part. What will you give to someone who have live their lives simply?

While my husband got his Christmas gifts already - he's a very happy man. For my little girl, I'll open a new bank account for her college fund.

As for me, oh I don't know, maybe the LV Speedy 30 I had been craving for sometime? Awww I forgot, I'm a bum! Seriously, I would be asking dear Santa for a netbook, Oh I love this one, its sooooooo PINK! Although my dear brother promised to get me a Macbook next year, this will do for now. Anyways, I can pass this to the little lady in the house :)

PARKING ISSUE
I have been meaning to go to Kidz Kraze,  I already settled on bringing my ever-dependable household help - Anne to do the lining up while I shop around but that still leave me with one big problem - that is the parking, according to fellow n@wies who went there already, parking is really horrible. Oh I'm missing my husband even more specially at times likes this that I needed to shop somewhere that I'm not familiar with.

I have only one last hope, dear brother, hope he would drive for me. I even tried updating my gift list so I will not over-shop or under-shop.
