More shopping...
I'm beginning to get bored in my job...I don't know but this week is a very tiring week for me, not that I've accomplished so many things, its just that I feel tired. I could use a break...

Last Tuesday, I cooked sweet bananas for my hubby, it will be his breakfast, dessert and dinner hehehe. Last night, my hubby and I went to shop for a stove grill and some more cooking utensils...as we went for each item, he teases me that my kitchen stuff is almost complete but with no use since I don't regularly cook. Hmp!

Then we bought some doorlocks, actually we were looking for center table but haven't found the right one yet.

More homey feel now...

It's been more than a week since we moved-out from my in-laws' house. I spent every night shopping for utensils, accessories and things we needed for the house. My kitchen utensils as well as bathroom accessories are almost complete. My mum and 3 brothers went to our apartment last Saturday to help out in installing curtain rods, removing old and other things we needed to do. My hubby is in the office - working. After my "reinforcement team" went home, I cleaned the house, it made my hands feels as if its swelling, but seeing our apartment squeeky clean made me smile after secretly congratulating myself for a job well done. I'm not really the domestic type of wife, I have a very demanding career to start with and a wedding coordination thing that takes most of my spare time. So you see, doing domestic stuff is really a big change from what I usually does.

We spent 5 hours catching up with LOST episodes. We woke up early on Sunday, went straight to my paternal house in Marikina to drop off the laundy - yes the laudry, my mum offered to do it for me since I will be out the whole day which I gladly accepted since my hands could use a little break... We went to Sta. Lucia Dept. Store to buy a mirror - yes for a week, we don't have one and its worth the wait since we had it 500 pesos off its original price. Also, we bought a native rag half its price, what a deal! We bought some groceries to last us for a month and went to my in-laws place to have lunch as well as to fetch them so they visit our apartment. They instantly liked the apartment.

Home Alone
So many things had happened since my last post...Great things!

We moved out last Saturday from my in-laws house. Last Sunday, I inquired with Mr.Buncs if its okay if we move to QC, near our office so I can go home by myself - don't need to wait for him , this would also mean that I don't need to get up early just to ride with him in our car...

After discussing the pros and cons of getting our own apartment, we were both convinced that it will be wiser to do so. After two afternoons of house-hunting, we found an apartment that is two blocks away from office, with 2 bedrooms, nice neighborhood, good water supply (considering QC area). Although the apartment is quite old, its kinda neat and with my "artistic" side working on it - I think it can do better hehehe.

After 2 visits, we paid the a whooping 27K for 3 months of downpayment last Friday. My mum volunteered to shop for cooking utensils/stuff, cleaning stuff, door locks, bulbs draining us additional 3K. We also rented a van to have our stuff delivered from my in-laws house and our paternal house to our new but old apartment.

My family helped us and only left us at 9PM with a more "homey" apartment. Come Sunday morning, I got up early, I cooked breakfast (read: fried egg, tuyo, danggit) and after eating, we went to my favorite furniture shop in Marikina, we stashed 7K for a starter 6-seater dining set (its 4K cheaper compared to mall price) and went to SM and bought our 2 & 3 seater sofa, but it will take them 1 month to deliver the 2 seater sofa since it is made-to-order, the 3-seater sofa is available though and will be delivered on Wednesday, I can't wait.

We also purchased a 7-cubic feet refrigerator which costs us more than 11K. This moved-out really drained our account but soon we will be building our nest again. We're very happty that things are falling into place now.

Thank you to my wonderful husband and to our supportive families.
