At last! I was able to convinced the husband to fly back to Manila for the little girl's birthday, he will be here for a week. There will be no major celebration, I'm planning an intimate dinner for the family - I'm still in search of a place, nothing fancy, just a quiet place to celebrate - with good food, of course! But since my in-laws cannot travel that far, I need it to be somewhere our place.
Since Hubby will be arriving on Hermione's exact birthday, I'm thinking of a memorable way to celebrate it, just the three of us - or maybe her nanny can come along, but where?!?!?! Oh my, I'm an Events Coordinator, wasn't I?
I'm busy playing super mom to my little girl, we were discharged from the hospital last Wednesday and I immediately reported back for work - I was a bit excited, I always feel that way after being away for vacation. But, I was too tired and I decided to take things slowly, just to be on the safe side. I don't want to stretch myself too thinly - and end up in the hospital, specially now that Hubby is not around.
Last Saturday, I brought back my daughter to St.Luke's Hospital for a follow-up check-up, her pedia prescribed nebulization for 1 week and anti-histamine to tame down her asthma. Then we went to ABS and got myself a LongChamp short-handle in Brown color, I also ordered Tory Burch flats. I'm so excited because I was really hoping I could get a pair in SG but we weren't able to shop around because of Hermione being sickie right on my scheduled "shopping day", poor Mommy. But I didn't leave SG empty-handed, I got this with me:
I always wanted an eBook but find it too expensive just for my reading pleasure, iPAD is everything I need - FBing is never been better, of course it works as iPOD too. Love, love, love it!
I was hoping I could get a massage after our 4-day vacation in Singapore but the little girl is sick for 3 days now, she is admitted at St.Luke's Hospital yesterday. Her CBC and Urinalysis are normal, the doctors are still monitoring her. I hope it's just viral and nothing serious. I love you my little chinita.
Too many sleepless nights is taking a tall on me. Hermione's asthmatic episodes left me super-worried since Thursday night, I had to immediately bring her to the hospital for consult and medication. I had to put her on nebulization every 2 hours round the clock. I'm glad that she's feeling better now, and I hope she will recover completely because we have to fly to SG this coming wednesday for her daddy's birthday. Hubby is also sick, with no one to attend to him, to buy his meds and feed him - being so helpless....its driving me nuts, not to mention me being so grumpy over lack of sleep and colds.
I'm getting extremely excited - next week we will be flying to Singapore to see my dear husband, and look at what Hermione got for his birthday...hope daddy will love it!
