After almost 5 years of service, our Canon Ixus 40 has finally retired. Since my little one's development needs to be documented, every now and then, we decided to get a new P&S digicam. Panasonic LX3 is among the contender of this lovely Canon Ixus 100 IS, however, I wanted a gold camera. She's such a beauty isn't she? Since hubby is planning to work abroad this year, he finally gave in to my heart's desire since I'll be the one using it anyway when he's gone.
We got it for almost 20K, with free 4GB SD Card Memory and Leather Casing.
I just realized that I have been regularly blog-hopping but forgets to blog...so many things had happened.
After typhoon Ondoy hit us, we went to Marikina to stay for a week while they clean our house in Cainta, I was glad that our office people esp. my boss helped us moved there. We're back to our old life except that I'm missing our car terribly, its been in the repair shop for almost 3 months now, but we're really fortunate that except for that and losing our sofa and vacuum clearner - that's all, not like tha hundreds of family who are still recovering from the disaster brought by Ondoy - with no roof and no food.
For the last two months, I have been busy - of course with work. Like today, I'm working hehe. Bechay is also suffering from bad colds and cough, and she was diagnosed of Primary Complex, we are still asking for 2nd opinion though before putting her on meds. There's a high possibility that she has asthma too. Hay. She lost weight but she's gaining it back, she has new sets of teeth and she's really big na.
I spent the last couple of days, shopping for Christmas presents, Guess, Mossimo and Crocs held their biggest sale for the year, and where there is SALE, I am there hehe. I bought a lot of shirts from Guess for Bechay. I also bought her some shorts and pants from Mossimo and a pair of Crocs which is too big - anyway I plan to have her use it in the future pa since she has a lot of shoes already from her birthday.
We're almost complete shopping for inaanak,pamangkins and officemates - from Guess,Mossimmo, Crocs and the ever-dependable 168 mall. I will only be shopping for our parents and brothers since I don't have any idea yet what to give them. I hope I will be able to complete everything in the next 2 weeks so I can start wrapping them =)
I've been home for quite a while attending to my little bechay...if not home, you can find me in the hospital for my little one's check-up or vaccination. Other than that, I'm always home during weekends.
Last week, I've been roaming around the hub and saw this Mac Book, 13inch white in quite a steel for a little more than 50K, I didn't have any idea that Mac have reduced their prices...of course, with the tons of notebook coming out they need to adjust their rates. I gotta have that! Hubby told me that we could buy one after we bought a new videocam...=( Anyway, talk of prioritizing, we certainly need a new videocam since our not-so-old one does not conform to my hubby's specs - it was a gift to us.
Yesterday, we went to the mall, bought some cute little pieces for my princess from Gingernaps, 2 tops and a short. Boy, they have great selections for babies, I can stop myself from swiping hubby's card hehe.
I dunno since she is around, shopping becomes more interesting for me, I don't get to shop for myself its more of for her since I'm a bit bigger now. We also bought her a push cart toy that she enjoys, I have to admit I like it too!
Hubby bought me the AquaRacer I've been dreaming about...
Earlier we went to Trinoma, bought some really fabulous tops (without having to fit them since I can't move my left shoulder) then the wifey in me went home with 5 new throw pillow cases and new placemats. I'm so happy that I get to enjoy the outside world, but mine you, I easily get tired merely walking a few stores, I didn't imagine that the accident has affected me that much.
As hubby and I were enjoying the best ensaymada in town at Mary Grace Cafe, I mentioned to him that I like those diamond earrings we saw at MyDiamond, he told me, let's go, let's buy it. We went straight to Gateway, at MyDiamond, I tried on again the diamond earrings - hmnnnnn I'm having second thoughts, I told him if I can have the Aqua Racer watch instead from Tag Heuer, although it costs twice as the diamond earrings - he said YES!
OmiGod! I will post the pix later as well and the shoe cabinet we bought.
Hubby and I went to catch Beowulf yesterday, it was a nice movie. Finally!, we found the shoe cabinet we were looking for, of course, we didn't have the heart to let go of it so it was sitting in our car on our way home, although it cost twice as what we have budgeted. Hubby insisted on setting it up all by himself - I hope he will be able to finish it tomorrow as he promised...
I had a meeting with a client earlier, then hubby and I had dinner at Burgoo's Gateway...then we met with a dear friend for another business ops. Before dinner, we passed by MyDiamond and I saw a fabulous diamond earrings, the tag - 33,500! I controlled myself and slowly walked away, never to return again...hehe.
They say that diamond is a girl's best friend and I say otherwise...
